Since a foal he has competed and won various classes at county level and gained Champion in the CHAPS Foal Futurity and Reserve Champion in the Breeders Challenge in 2016. He was presented for SPSS youngstock evaluation as a yearling and 2 year old, gaining Premiums both times, then in 2019 he was awarded an SPSS Gold Premium in British Breeding Futurity Evaluations as an eventing sports pony. The Futurity evaluators noted that his jumping was both bold and brave and awarded him a 9 and 8s for his walk, which they described as "active" and trot, which they described as having "good rhythm and expression". He is also licensed with the Arab Society with 43.23% part bred Arab, and with the coloured horse and pony society.
He currently has more 20 British dressage points, is jumping at BS British Novice level with a new 13 year old rider. He was invited back to the British Breeding Equine Bridge Programme in 2022 due to being a high scorer as a 3 year old and gained high silver as a showjumping prospect. He has a wonderful temperament to pass on to his offspring which runs down through his lines and proven amongst his foals so far. A multiple Champion, including Supreme Champion titles, in-hand, including Kent County, South of England, Edenbridge & Oxted and Cherif Champion under 148cms stallion, Moriarty has sired hunter ponies, hacks, riding ponies and sports horses/ponies. His son, Murraybrook Orinoco, has BD points from Preliminary to Medium levels and was 4th at Elementary level at the 2019 BD CHAPS Associated Championships. Also in 2019, his 2 year old son, Murraybrook Duke of Atholl, was awarded a Futurity Gold Premium as a 2 year old.
Moriaty's sire, Royal Command of Wentward, is himself by the by Multi Supreme and British National Champion 'Royal Linsign' by Anglo Arab 'Royal Ensign'. A 148cms pony, Royal Command of Wentward was successfully shown in hand and has winning show stock to his credit. Abbeywoods Aphrodite was born in 2011 and is a 14.2hh sports pony mare by Commanche Ace (traditional type coloured) out of Windy City E (Mecklenberg). Aphrodite has won show classes from being a foal and has numerous Champion and Reserve Champion titles and she was graded by CHAPS as a Star Status Mare in 2015.
Aphrodite's dam, Windy City E, is a 15hh small sports horse who has also had a successful career showing, with many wins and Champion/Reserve titles to her name. Windy City E is out of Peppermint Petty, a Pinto with a Polish Warmblood sire & dam, who is also the dam of the graded stallion Dux Donal.
