Tiger Attack, owned and bred by Joanne & William Moran, is an outstanding quality horse, a real head turner with superb conformation and exceptional movement.
He has approximately 70% of thoroughbred blood, ideal for breeding quality event horses as well as top class show horses and ponies, hacks, riding horses and hunters. They inherit his strong colour, natural correct movement, superb conformation and presence.
A supreme champion in-hand show horse as a youngster with an amazing track record winning every major national championship including qualifying for the Cuddy Championship at the Horse of the Year Show 3 times as well as the Ottergale Supreme x 3, £1000 North of England Supreme x 2, Royal Mile Supreme, Martin Wood £1000 Supreme Final, In Hand Future Event Horse Championships x 3 at Bramham CCI, “the dope on a rope in hand” has become a “superstar under saddle”. He has the most trainable temperament and is always willing to please and always gives 110%.
In his first season under saddle in 2017 as a 5 year old he has won the BD Southern Combined Training Championship, the Novice Working Hunter at Three Counties Show, Won 4 & 5 Year Old Workers at The SHB Championship Show, won British Dressage classes at Preliminary and Novice Levels qualifying for the Regionals at both levels, won the BYEH Qualifier at Hartpury International Horse Trials, had consistent placings at BE90 and BE100 and won the BE90 Regional Final qualifying for the Grass Roots Championship at Badminton Horse Trials 2018. All of this with a busy season standing at Catherston Stud.
In 2018 he was 20th at Badminton with a lovely clear XC, was 3rd at the Hunter Show in the Novice Working Hunter, 2nd Wilton BE100 & 1st Bucks County Blue Chip Flat Sport Horse Qualifier. In 2019 he moved up to Novice Eventing and was clear cross country at every event, his 5BE points came with double clears at Tweseldown and West Wilts. He also won the Restricted Working Hunter Class at the SHB Championship Show.
In 2019 he sired 33 Winners, 25 Champions, 4 Reserve Champions, 8 Supremes and 2 Reserve Supremes (that we know of) not forgetting the 2 that qualified for the HOYS. These have included Showing Champions and Supremes in England, Ireland, Scotland & Wales at the likes of the Great Yorkshire, Royal Highland, Royal Welsh as well as the Northern Ireland Festival, to list just a few & covering the full range from 14.2hh part breds, Intermediates, Riding Horses, Hunters and Sport Horses.
2020 has been a great year for him stud wise with more famous horses and owners due to have a little Tiger Attack in 2021 as well as many coming back for a 2nd or 3rd time! He has consolidated his training and came out at Advanced Medium Dressage level with Charlotte Dicker winning his first test at the level.
Tiger Attack has concentrated mainly on his Stud duties for 2021 and 2022 and is working at Prix St Georges at home.
