Blue Hors Viconte's pedigree combines two of the strongest and successful performance bloodlines of recent years. In 2020 Viconte passed his Hengstleistungsprüfung with a total of 8.44 points with a brilliant 9.5 for ridability. We expect Viconte will make a positive impact and contribution to dressage breeding with crops of foals consisting of upcoming sports horses of the utmost quality.
His sire Vivaldi was reserve champion of his own stallion performance test, and in 2007 he won the coveted Pavo Cup under Dutch Olympian Hans Peter Minderhoud. In 2008 and 2009, he won the KWPN stallion series, achieving 10.0 for his trot!
He has competed internationally up to Prix St George’s, scoring over 72%, and is trained up to advanced, but has been used predominantly for breeding due the the high demands placed on him.
Viconte's damline is one of the most successful in Germany. During the last couple of decades the line has produced many top offspring competing up to Grand Prix level. The legacy of this damline had it's international breakthrough with the Sandro Hit/Brentano daughter Poetin II, who won gold at the World Championships for Young Horses as a 5 year old. Following this success she was sold for a record price at the P.S.I. Auction, where she became the most expensive riding horse sold at the time. Poetin, the full-sister of Viconte's mother, has several awarded sisters and approved nephews. Viconte's grandmother Poesie is one of the greatest mares in modern dressage breeding, she is the dam of Samba Hit I-V and the grandmother of Quaterback.
